Job 25 | King James Bible |
Chapter 26 | |
| |
| How hast thou helped1 [him that is] without power? [how] savest52 thou the arm [that hath] no strength? |
| How hast thou counselled1 [him that hath] no wisdom? and [how] hast thou plentifully declared52 the thing as it is? |
| To whom hast thou uttered52 words? and whose spirit came1 from thee? |
| Dead [things] are formed34 from under the waters, and the inhabitants6 thereof. |
| Hell [is] naked before him, and destruction hath no covering. |
| He stretcheth out6 the north over the empty place, [and] hangeth6 the earth upon nothing. |
| He bindeth up6 the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent8 under them. |
| He holdeth back18 the face of his throne, [and] spreadeth40 his cloud upon it. |
| He hath compassed1 the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end. |
| The pillars of heaven tremble34 and are astonished4 at his reproof. |
| He divideth1 the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth1 through the proud. |
| By his spirit he hath garnished14 the heavens; his hand hath formed31 the crooked serpent. |
| Lo, these [are] parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard8 of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?113 |
